Goodbyes

Staying longer -
no matter how much time -
always ends with the same word:
goodbye.

Let’s give what we can afford to
and let go of the rest.
Appreciate whatever moments we have
and forget the rest.

I’m better at “hellos”
Better at “see you soons”
Every hi ends with goodbye
so get ready for the ending
as it’s coming…
