Learn about research on autonomous vehicles (AVs) in Australia for Leigh-Chantelle's PhD. She shares a selection of findings from her focus group interviews, where 82 stakeholders discussed the perceived benefits and potential challenges of the rollout of AVs. Additionally, how the barriers and gaps to the continuous deployment of electric vehicles (EVs) in Australia might impact the AV rollout will also be discussed. The themes gained from these two studies influence her upcoming study where a broader Australian audience will be asked about their views on AVs, EVs, and technology.
