VLV Updates

On Friday, I caught up with my Texan, USA friend, Christy Morgan (aka The Blissful Chef), and her friend Crystal. We met up with Susan from Twitter - who also runs Eating for Animals - for lunch at Green House Factory in Coolangatta.


I'd never been here before, so was excited to try the food. Christy ordered the Healthy Start with tofu scramble, spinach, avocado, tomato, house made beans and home fries AU$20:


 Crystal ordered the Stuffed Sweet Potatoes with chipotle black bean corn salsa, avocado cream and dressed greens AU$19:


Susan ordered the Creamed cashew and chickpea Open Grill with house made dejonnaise served with chickpea fries AU$15:


I ordered the Spinach and Banana pancakes with seasonal fresh fruit and vanilla cashew cream AU$19:


The meals were really large servings, and well-priced considering the size. We all had various drinks from the menu below - probably why I couldn't finish my meal.

Christy, Crystal and I spent the rest of the afternoon exploring Burleigh Heads on foot - wonderful day with great people!
